Radiant Earth - Kate Hooray Osmond
I see a world where definitions and foundations are increasingly dissolute. A world of
complete energy: change, abundance, sorrow, creation and destruction. I am
embracing everything in order to see the complete balance of existence and to learn
peace in a climate when nothing lasts.
Often, I find the inspiration for my work from an elevated height: photographing from
inside a shipping crane, flying in a helicopter, rappelling from a building. . . I need the
experience of height and distance to play with the visual distortion of time and speed.
And I need to see it for myself.
- Kate Hooray Osmond
ID: Interdimensional Discoveries
Three artists converge in the most unusual territory:
The Interdimensional.
Through each artist’s lens is the experience of discovery. This can be here on earth in the natural world, one’s own psyche; the inner world, in the supernatural world, and beyond into the interstellar. Isn’t inner-space just as vast as outer-space?
Journey through each artwork as if you were traveling between stars and communing with new beings or divulging new worlds hidden within yourself.
Witness the magical realism of jeweled gardens from Klenow’s imagination, communication of the human condition singing in each of Slater’s carefully choreographed photographs and collages, and Be’s ability to channel otherworldly beings hiding in plain sight.
What if WE are the most “extra” of all the terrestrials?

Description text goes hereIn my works I use strong compositional approaches and emphasize color to evoke an uneasy nostalgia.
In this series I am confronting the emotions of being lost and belonging. Being present, yet invisible. Finding that your voice in a void still has meaning. By choosing the perspective of Extra Terrestrials and the Supernatural as my subjects, I am able to tell our story on this lonely and glorious earth. Earthlings are lightseekers. I always want to celebrate how rare all of this is, including being alive to make Art about it.

Midnight Garden Art Statement
Flowers are not just pretty, they tell stories and they create community. They reveal time; time of year, time of day, and time of life, and they reveal location. I love the small secrets that are hidden in the Midnight Garden works. The sweet spiky seed pods of a castor bean are actually where the poison ricin comes from. Moonflowers that remain quiet and secret all day, exploding with color and scent every evening. Cannas that are divided and shared from yard to yard as they invade with their bold beauty. I paint the flowers that grow in my yard, some I’ve planted myself, some have been gifted from friends that I then propagate and gift to others, some have even been secretly smuggled from across the Atlantic (thanks for Giverny Monet!). Many of these works were done in collaboration with photographer Slater Mapp for a series called Tarot Garden. Photography and paintings were shared back and forth to create an otherworldly and allegorical narrative combining the self-reflection of Tarot with the mystery of a night garden.

I am an artist who uses digital photography as a basis to explore themes of belief, and to challenge notions of how photography can be viewed. For the last three years I have been working on three major figurative projects called "American Goddess," "Tarot Garden," and "Aliens Amongst Us:" All the work started as a reaction against the ubiquitous nature of digital photography and to the tendency to consume images too quickly. As part of my practice I collaborate with visual artists like Trish Klenow and Be Boggs.
1. "American Goddess" explores the idea of how Greek Mythology continues to influence how folks view themselves, how they are seen, and how they behave.
2."Tarot Garden " asks the viewer to reflect about our own lives, and explore the idea of how our anxiety about the present can compel us to use rituals to attempt to control or predict the future.
3."Aliens Amongst Us" is an exploration of Sci-Fi tropes as a metaphor for how people can be viewed as alien or for how they can feel alienated.

All the Best - William Taylor
William Taylor is an artist from Southern California whose work focuses on introspection and the emotional side of life. The tone of his work varies piece by piece, but his practice is rooted in emotional vulnerability and rawness. He believes in the healing power of our deepest emotions. If we tend to them and nurture them, they’ll guide us through the challenges of life and connect us with our authentic path.
He works mainly with acrylic paint and oil stick, creating paintings with up to 10 layers, invoking emotive abstractions alongside text. He explores the interplay between poetry and emotionally charged designs, and the unique mental spaces they create.
He started painting in 2015 as a landscape painter, and, through gradual experimentation, found his style of pairing words with energetic visuals, guided by the idea of capturing the feeling of our inner landscape.

Summits: The Beginning, End & Beginning Again - Rakia Jackson
“My path is already laid out for me. Heaven, stars, and moons have orchestrated a musical play that is my life. I bounce through life at my own cadence, as most of us. It's up to me to tap into myself and tackle the summits, even though the path was predestined. When your heart is connected with your mind and body, you get endless possibilities. When you talk with love, compassion, and truth, the world is yours. This journey is mine but it is a shared experience between all.” - Rakia Jackson
The World in Colors - Natalia Leigh
Black canvas is like a beginning in life: plant a seed in the soil where it is dark and black. The seed will grow out turning into colors with sunshine, as goes the painting when I begin on the black canvas. The colors on canvas begin to emerge and grow into the picture of whatever is in my heart. I am studying the symbols of nature, and symbols of subjects that surround us. I use those symbols to tell the story of everyday life.

This invitational exhibition showcases artworks that explore the myriad ways in which food and drink shape our experiences and cultures.
From the intimacy of a home-cooked meal to the grandeur of a Michelin-starred feast, food brings people together. It is a source of nourishment, celebration, and connection. Artists in this exhibition use food and drink as a lens through which to examine themes such as identity, memory, community, and the global food system.
Some works are whimsical and playful, while others are more contemplative and challenging. We invite you to reflect on the complex and often contradictory relationship that we have with the things we eat and drink with: Food for Thought.
A Splash of Color - Tio Dino
When I was a young man I never imagined that I would be an artist.
I gradually came to discover the delight in drawing and painting imaginary things. I like to approach my work with little or no image in mind as to what will appear on the paper or canvas. This allows my uncensored spirit to do its best work without interference. In the case of wood, I let the material suggest what will happen. I usually prefer to work with pieces that other carpenters might describe as scrap wood. My goal is to encourage people by putting a splash of color in the world. If I can make you laugh, that is a bonus.
Everything Sooner or Later is Part of Everything Else - Kate Chassner
I am curious about the connection we have, as a society, to lost memories and traces of human histories. My collages are building on something known and creating something that is new, revealing the overlapping stories we all share that have become blurred in this current space it occupies. I am investigating my own memory and stories from my childhood through images and materials I have saved. Allowing for the misplaced pieces to the stories to open new narratives and expand our understanding. I see these works as a way of signaling that our narratives and histories are multilayered, overlapping, and open for interpretation. Leaning into the idea that our blurry memories are provoking a slippage between the real and unreal.
